ZITA MARIE HUBER

August 17, 1922 — June 14, 2005

Zita Marie Huber, 82, of Westphalia, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at Westphalia Retirement Center. She was born on Aug. 17, 1922 in Argyle, MO, the daughter of Heinrich and Mary Borgmeyer Brunnert. She was married on Sept. 17, 1942 in Westphalia to Arthur Henry Huber who died on Nov. 29, 2000. A homemaker, Mrs. Huber was a cook at Fatima High School from 1963 to 1985. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia; Ladies Sodality; Knights of Columbus Council 1171 Auxiliary; and Westphalia Senior Citizens. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Harold and Theresa Huber, Freeburg; and Thomas J. Huber, Westphalia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Norbert Schaefer, Osage City; and Judith and James Watson, Vernon, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Roger Huber and his wife, Gail; Joyce Huber, Darla Schaefer, Marsha Schaefer, Pamela Cruz and her husband, Scott; Brian Schaefer, Justin Watson, and Ashley Watson; one great-grandson, Jacob Huber; and two sisters, Dorothy Forck, Kansas City, MO; and Emma Guyon, Clayton, MO. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sally Hilkemeyer and Rose Brunnert; and one brother, Francis Brunnert. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia, with the Rev. Philip M. Kane officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Westphalia. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 16th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church, POB 116, Westphalia, MO 65085; or a charity of the donors choice.
