William James Bexten

William "Will" James Bexten, 54, of Argyle, died Friday, December 5, 2014, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital. He was born September 20, 1960, in Jefferson City the son of Stephen Henry Bexten and Elizabeth Ann (Holtschneider) Bexten Groner. Will served his country in the United States Army. Will was a self-employed repairman specializing in appliance and electronic repair with C & W Electronics Repair and Argyle Fix-It Shop. Will enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors include: his mother, Elizabeth "Betsy" Bexten Groner and her husband Clem Groner, Westphalia; four siblings, Kevin (Glenda) Bexten, Linn; Melody (Mike) Fowler, Linn; Sandy Haslag, Jefferson City; Kim (Darien) Clough, Linn; seven nieces and nephews, Brittany Bexten, Jesse Haslag, Abigail Clough, Destiny Haslag, Caden Clough, Colleen Clough, and Daniel Clough; his aunts and uncles, Rose (Mike) Sonderman, Bridgeton, Mo; Margie (Jerry) Mebruer, Linn; Carole Stienbeck, Jefferson City; Eddie (Marilyn) Bexten, Westphalia; Jim Holtschneider, Belle; Judith Stratman, Rich Fountain; Chris (Garry) Reichel, Rich Fountain. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Henry Bexten; his grandparents; a nephew, Gabriel Clough; and two uncles, George Holtschneider and David Holtschneider. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia with the Rev. Mark S. Smith officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the William Bexten Family or to a charity of the donor's choice.
