WINFRED BERNARD KIDD, JR.

Winfred Bernard Kidd, Jr., 18, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on Feb. 11, 1987 in Detroit, Mich., the son of Winfred Bernard Kidd, Sr. and Cassandra Denise Leavell. His mother survives in Jefferson City. Winfred was employed as a warehouse assembly lineman with Penmac Personnel Service, Jefferson City. He enjoyed football in junior high school and basketball in high school. Other survivors include one daughter, Niyia Morris, Jefferson City; his girl friend, Rolacia Howard, Jefferson City; two grandmothers, Bobette Calhoun and Sebeura Kidd, both of Detroit, Mich.; four brothers, Eric Kidd and Noah Kidd, both of Jefferson City; and Christian Kidd and Christopher Kidd, both of Detroit, Mich.; six sisters, Ericka Foster; Lakisha Kidd; Nicole Kidd; Tiffany Kidd; Jessica Kidd; and Travida Smith, all of Jefferson City; two nieces, Malia Randle and Nikkia Collins, both of Jefferson City; three nephews, Lloyd Randle; Dennis Collins; and Victor Parson, all of Jefferson City; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Winfred Hall. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Cornell C. Sudduth, Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Winfred Kidd Memorial Fund.
