Willie Mae Davis, 82, of Jefferson City, MO, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at Beverly Rehabilitation Center. She was born on April 5, 1923 in Portersville, MO, the daughter of George and Mattie Cannon Thomas. She was married to Frank Davis. A homemaker, Mrs. Davis was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Steele, MO. Survivors include three sons and their wives, Otis White Cannon; Willie Lee and Barbara Davis, all of Jefferson City; and Charles Edward and Floncy Davis, of Steele, MO; three daughters, Elois Jean Davis, of Jefferson City, MO; May Jewell Davis, of Steele, MO; and Mary Louise Davis, of Caruthersville, MO; twenty-six grandchildren; and fifty-seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Andre Davis; and two granddaughters, Veronica and Yovanda Davis. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2005, at One In Christ Church, Jefferson City, with Minister Phillip Connor officiating. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, June 20th, at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Willie Mae Davis Memorial Fund. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
