Vera Irene Schnieders

Vera Irene Schnieders, 82, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016, at Villa Marie. She was born March 2, 1933, in Iberia, Missouri the daughter of the late Everett Elmer and Victoria Bertha (Helm) Lewis. She was united in marriage on April 27, 1984, in Jefferson City to Richard Louis Schnieders who survives. Vera was employed with Missouri Farm Bureau, Busch's Florist, Bremmerkamp Auto Repair, Conservation Federation of Missouri, and had cared for her mother for several years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, canning, and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Richard Schnieders, Jefferson City; one son, Denny (Dottie) McCubbin, Holts Summit; two daughters, Glenda (Terry) Bremer, Wentzville; Gloria (Charlie) Kennedy, Scotts Bluff, Neb.; five grandchildren, Kevin (Trisha) McCubbin, Keith (Madeline) McCubbin, Tricia Bremer, Cassandra Bremer, Alena Kennedy; three great-grandchildren, Mya McCubbin, Cadence McCubbin, Brantley McCubbin; and one sister-in-law, Lavada Lewis, Tuscumbia. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Drexel Lewis. Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev.
