VIVIAN ANGELINA REID

Vivian Angelina Reid, 73, of Surprise, Ariz., died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at the home of her daughter in Jefferson City. She was born on Sept. 15, 1934, in New York State, the daughter of Vincent James and Concetta Maria Mangione Tripodi. She was married in August, 1959, in Las Vegas, Nev. to William Earl Mackintosh Reid who died on Jan. 16, 2005. Mrs. Reid received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Irvine and later received a Masters degree in Computer Science. She was a teacher for several years with the Garden Grove, Calif., Unified School District until her retirement in 2004. She was a member of the Roman Catholic faith; Computer Club in Arizona; Italian Club in Arizona; and enjoyed traveling, opera, art, and casinos. Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Bragg and Jennifer Reid, both of Jefferson City; and Adrienne Reed and her husband, Mike, Camdenton, Mo.; and five grandchildren, Stephanie Bragg; Ashley Jones; Joshua Jones; Lindsey Jones; and Danielle Reed. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas Tripodi. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
