VIRGINIA LEE VOSSEN

Virginia Lee Edwards Vossen, 83, Jefferson City, died Saturday, November 12, 2005, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born on May 20, 1922, in Columbia, MO, the daughter of William Ira and Helen Elizabeth March Edwards. Mrs. Vossen retired in 1987 as an administrative assistant for the State Agency for Surplus Property. She also worked for the State of Missouri Department of Revenue and the Public Service Commission. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and St. Marys Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Barbara and Farrell Germann; three grandchildren, Greg and Lori Bruce, Jefferson City, Michael Bruce, Atlanta, GA, and Angie and D.J. Johnson, Jefferson City; and four great-grandsons; and one sister, Joyce Walker, Columbia. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Kay Rutledge; and one son-in-law, Ken Bruce. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. James M. Smith officiating. Entombment will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4-7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Jefferson City, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church, 216 Broadway St., Jefferson City, MO 65101; Carmelite Monastery, 2201 W.
