VICTOR JOSEPH KAISER

Victor Joseph Kaiser, 90, of Jefferson City, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 in the same home he was born in, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 13, 1917, in Jefferson City at his familys farm, the son of August P. and Antonia Loesch Kaiser. He was married on April 16, 1947 in Jefferson City to Martha Ann Hentges Kaiser who died on October 22, 2004. Mr. Kaiser worked for the Jefferson City Public Schools in the maintenance department, Security Window and Door Company, and was a farmer all of his life. Victor was a life-long member of St. Peter Catholic Church. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, playing cards, and spending time with his family. In his early years, he enjoyed playing for local baseball teams, pitching horseshoes, and attending dances. Mr. Kaisers farm has been in his family for 155 years and holds the recognition from the Missouri Department of Agriculture as a Missouri Century Farm. Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Cindy Reeves, Vickie Schaben, and Jacqueline and Kevin Baldwin, all of Jefferson City; Peggy and David Gretlein, Holts Summit; seven grandchildren, Kayla Reeves, Melissa Reeves, Austin Reeves, Emily Reeves, Clayton Schaben, Tasha Schaben, and April Schaben; and two sisters, Esther Ihler, Jefferson City; and Victoria Uballez, twin sister, State of California. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; infant daughter, Donna Marie Kaiser; six sisters, Alma Zabienski; Pauline Hohm; Sr. Mary Amanda Kaiser; Amanda Willmeno; Florence Donelson; and Anna Marie Klebba; and one brother, Leo Kaiser. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert H. Fields officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
