Rosemary Theresa Schulte, 85, of St Martins, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born December 21, 1928, in Cole County, the daughter of the late Oscar and Antonia (Dulle) Distler. She was united in marriage on November 25, 1947, in St. Martins, to Francis Joseph Schulte who preceded her in death on October 6, 2013. A homemaker most of her life, Rosemary also had served as the cafeteria cook for St. Martin School for 26 years retiring May 20, 1998. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martins and the 50 Plus Club Rosemary enjoyed embroidering, doing puzzles, and quilting for the church. Rosemary had a strong Catholic faith and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include: thirteen children, Mary (Jerry) Rogers, Mexico, Mo; Albert Schulte, Jefferson City; Rose Ann Schulte, Jefferson City; John (Mary Jane) Schulte, Rich Fountain; Gregory (Mary Lou) Schulte, St. Elizabeth; Martha (Jerry) Slote, Eugene; Vincent (Diane) Schulte, Jefferson City; Joseph Schulte, Jefferson City; Toni (Mark) Pointer, Ashland; Theresa (Randy) Mengwasser, Holts Summit; Patricia Belt, Jefferson City; Thomas (Cindy) Schulte, Nevada; Juanita (Joe) Baker, Jefferson City; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Paul (Earlene) Distler, Lake Ozark; Vincent Distler, Taos; Theresa Hilke, Jefferson City; and Jerome Distler, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Helen and Joan Schulte; two sisters, Margaret Prenger and Mary Alice Edgar; one brother, John Distler; and a son-in-law, Raymond Belt, Sr. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 Noon Saturday, December 6, 2014, at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martins with the Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. till 12 Noon Saturday at St. Martin Catholic Church. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, 2400 Bluff Creek Drive, Columbia, Mo 65201. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
