Roman Liborius Hagenhoff

Roman Liborius Hagenhoff, 82, of Taos, Missouri, died Friday, December 26, 2014, at his residence. He was born on May 4, 1932, in St. Elizabeth, Missouri, the son of the late Adolph Henry and Elizabeth Theresa Bax Hagenhoff. He was married on July 20, 1957, in Taos to Alberta Elizabeth Eiken who survives at the home. Mr. Hagenhoff was employed with Frank Distler Construction Company in earlier years, and retired in 1997 from the Underground Transformer Division of ABB, Inc., where he had worked for nearly 25 years. In retirement he served as custodian and crossing guard for St. Francis Xavier School. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and was a volunteer fireman with the Taos Fire Department. Roman enjoyed gardening and fishing. Other survivors include three children, Ron (Jackie) Hagenhoff, Jefferson City; Linda (Charles) Bruemmer, Jefferson City; and Steve (Rita) Hagenhoff, Springfield, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, William (Jenny) Bruemmer; Travis (Megan) Bruemmer; Craig Bruemmer; Derek Bruemmer; Brent Bruemmer; Kenneth (Brianne) Hagenhoff; Deann (Curtis) Wieberg; David (Jessica) Hagenhoff; Erica Hagenhoff; Matthew Schulte; and Brianna Schulte; one great-grandson, Konner Hagenhoff; two sisters, Barbara (Lawrence) Horstdaniel, Jefferson City; and Veronica (Harold) Holtmeyer, Iberia, Missouri; one daughter-in-law, Norma Hagenhoff, Harrisburg, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Carol Hagenhoff, St. Elizabeth, Missouri; and one brother-in-law, Raymond "Jim" Siebeneck, Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Hagenhoff; one brother, Herman Hagenhoff; and one sister, Mary Ann Siebeneck. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Wayne M. Boyer officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Taos. Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Monday, December 29th, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos, with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 7319 Route M, Jefferson City, MO 65101-9507.
