Robert Lee Cage, 63, of St. Martins, died Sunday, October 12, 2003, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia. He was born on February 20, 1940 in Gallatin, Tennessee, the son of John William Cage and Opal Elizabeth Pruitt Cage. He was married on October 12, 1963 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Joan Nancy Newman who survives at the home. Mr. Cage is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Kristen Cage, Columbia; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra and Marvin Koerber, Argyle; and Terry L. Cage, Jefferson City; two grandchildren, Victoria Koerber and Robert Koerber; and a brother and sister-in-law, George and Patsy Cage, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, 3210 N. Ten Mile Drive, Jefferson City, MO. Entombment with military honors will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. today at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with Masonic Rites conducted at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 2932 Mohawk, Jefferson City, MO 65101. Mr. Cage was a 1958 graduate of Gallatin High School and a 1979 graduate of Mohegan College in Norwich, Connecticut. He served for twenty-two years with the U.S. Navy Submarine Service until retiring in 1980. He was employed as a construction supervisor with the Callaway Nuclear Power Plant where he later served as a private consultant. He was a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church, Gallatin, Tennessee; Rocky Mount American Veterans; Roscoe Enloe American Legion Post No. 5; Submarine Veterans; Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 2693; and Jefferson Lodge No. 43, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons.
