Robert Herman Hentges

Robert Herman Hentges, 80, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at his residence. He was born October 19, 1921 in St. Martins, the son of Leo H. Hentges and Emma Prenger Hentges. He was married on April 29, 1944 in St. Martins to Evelyn F. Achilles who survives at the home. Other survivors include two daughters, Loretta Kerperin and Carol Kerperin, both of Taos; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alma Battles, Tipton; and Kathleen Wall, Kansas City, Kansas; and a brother, John Hentges, California, Missouri. Services were 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2002, at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph. The Rev. David G. Buescher officiated. Burial was in St. Martin Cemetery, St. Martins, Missouri. Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials were suggested to Masses or a charity of the donor's choice. He worked for International Shoe Company for sixteen years. From 1962 to 1987 he was employed with several vending companies. He was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
