Rebecca Sue Becky Hyman, 41, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born February 8, 1976, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Harold Wayne and Carolyn Marie (Frank) Ousley. She was a graduate of Helias High School in 1994. She was united in marriage on May 17, 2002, in Jefferson City, Missouri to Mark Edward Hyman who resides at the home. Becky was a receptionist at Jefferson City Medical Group. She was an amazing mother to her daughter, Anna, who was the light of her life. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially at the pool or on the river in the summer. Her nieces and nephews lovingly called her Abba. She went to the gym everyday and adored her two dogs, Bruiser and Paisley. She and her husband enjoyed competing in (and winning) barbeque competitions all over the country under the team name, Great Grills O Fire. Everyone who knew her, loved her kind and fun-loving spirit. She will be greatly missed by many. Survivors include her husband, Mark; a daughter, Anna Marie Loesch, Jefferson City; her parents, Harold and Carolyn Ousley, Jefferson City; two step-children, Karrah Hyman, Clearwater, Florida; and Erik Hyman, Columbia; a brother, Travis (Carla) Ousley, Brazito; a sister, Emily Park (Justin Solum), Jefferson City; four nieces and nephew, Taylor and Cole Ousley and Charlie and Sydney Solum; her mother-in-law, Beverly Jean Brandt, Tebbetts; a brother-in-law, Jeff (Sarah) Hyman, Holts Summit; a sister-in-law, Shelby (Roy) Tanke, Vancouver, Washington; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Harold Hyman. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2018, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Simeon A. Etonu and her uncle, the Rev. Richard Frank officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to MU Childrens Hospital NICU, 1 Hospital Dr., DC 066.00, Columbia, Missouri, 65212; or to the March of Dimes, 1709 Missouri Blvd., Suite C #158, Jefferson City, Missouri 65109.
