ROSE ELIZABETH KOESTER

Rose Elizabeth Koester, 88, of Holts Summit, Mo., died Monday, June 18, 2012, at Golden Living Center.
She was born on June 22, 1923, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Aubrey and Elizabeth Lammers Bybee.
She was married on October, 22, 1980, in Jefferson City, to Henry Benjamin "Humpy" Koester who preceded her in death in August, 1991.
Mrs. Koester was employed with Oberman's Manufacturing Co. for twenty-seven years and with International Shoe Co. for three years.
She was a member of Wayfarer Pentecostal Church, Jefferson City.
Survivors include nine nieces and nephews, Carl (Janet) Ousley, Jefferson City; Willie (Betty) Ousley, Holts Summit; Harold (Carolyn) Ousley, Jefferson City; Mike (Debbie) Ousley, Eugene, Mo.; Richard (Bernadine) Ousley, Russellville, Mo.; Earl Ousley, Jefferson City; Lawrence (Belinda) Ousley, Jefferson City; Sally (Bernard) Clark, Holts Summit; and Donna Kay (Steve) Hammond, Jefferson City; her cousin and best friend, Emma Detwiler, Jefferson City; and George H. (Gayleen) Ousley of Columbia, Mo., who was as a son to her.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Reed officiating.
Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
