ROBERT WILSON TURNER

January 27, 1930 — August 10, 2010

Robert Wilson Turner, 80, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at his residence.
He was born on Jan. 27, 1930, in Auxvasse, Mo., the son of the late Daniel and Ethel Neil Jennings Turner. He was married on Feb. 13, 1957, in Jefferson City to Dorothy Ann Whittler who died on Sept. 27, 2005. Mr. Turner retired in 1991 as a machine operator with Central Dairy where he was employed for thirty-eight years He was a former member of Second Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel M. Turner, Jefferson City; and William L. Turner, Denver, Colo.; one sister, Bertha M. (Joseph) Blunt, Jefferson City; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert N. Turner; a step-son, Michael E. Whittler; two sisters, Mary Lou Barrett and Betty Jane Hawkins; and two brothers, William Turner and Nolan Turner.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Marion Mitchell and Rev. Cornell C. Sudduth, Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
