RALPH WILLIAM HEIMERICKS

March 21, 1925 — April 3, 2008

Ralph William Heimericks, 83, formerly of Jefferson City, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at his residence in St. Louis where he had resided for nineteen years. He was born on March 21, 1925, in Jefferson City, the son of Benjamin and Elizabeth Eveler Heimericks. He was married on April 21, 1976, in Jefferson City to Mary Elizabeth Connor who survives at the home. Mr. Heimericks was a fork lift operator with UAW Local 25 at the General Motors Parts Division for twenty-eight years retiring in 1975. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Ann, Mo., and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Jefferson City; and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Alton, Ill. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and corkball. Other survivors include one sister, Kathryn Kolkmeyer, Lake Okeechobee, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2008, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Entombment with military honors will be at Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 E.
