Pauline (Neutzler) Hack

Pauline Ann Neutzler Hack, 82, formerly of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on October 30, 2016, at Sunset Hills Health and Rehab Facility in St. Louis, Missouri, after a lengthy illness. She was born on Jan. 25, 1934, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the daughter of Leo and Amelia (Lutz) Neutzler, who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on July 23, 1955, in Florida to George Donald Hack, who currently resides at the Sunset Hills Health and Rehab Facility. She attended St. Peter's Catholic High School, graduating in 1952. Before her marriage to George, Pauline worked as an executive secretary for the Missouri State Board of Nursing which was located in the State Capital building at that time. She was a homemaker after her marriage to George and they lived in Florida, Illinois, and Jefferson City and St. Louis, Missouri. Pauline was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Oakville, Missouri. Pauline was a member of St. Anne's Sodality and the Red Hatters. She was very active in community activities with both organizations. She loved to play Bunko, Uno, and bingo with her friends. She greatly enjoyed holidays with her family and going out with friends. She also enjoyed gardening, decorating, painting, and drawing. One of her greatest joys to her and her family was when she won on the same day Best of Show Design for a flower arrangement and a Blue Ribbon for her pastel drawing at the Cole County Fair. But most of all, Pauline loved her family including her 5 children and 7 grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Ronald (Barbara) Hack of St. Louis, Kathy (Edward) Vitela of Jefferson City, Mary (Steve) Erickson of Jefferson City, Melissa (Jim) Thomas of Oakville, Missouri, and George Hack (fiance Vicky Terry) of Lake Saint Louis; and her grandchildren Christopher Hack, Jessica Hack, Scott Hack, Nathan Erickson, Nicholas Erickson, Caitlin Sterman (Hack) and Evie Hack; and many cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon on November 3, 2016, at St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church, Oakville, Missouri. Family will receive friends and family in St. Louis from 4-8 p.m. on November 2, 2016, at Kutis Funeral Home located at 5525 Lemay Ferry, St. Louis, Missouri. Family will receive friends and family in Jefferson City from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home for friends and family in Jefferson City prior to burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Jefferson City. Memorials are suggested to St. Francis of Assisi Parochial School in Oakville, Missouri or Helias High School in Jefferson City, Missouri.
