Mrs. Patricia Flynn Hilkemeyer, age 91 years, of Westphalia, Mo., died Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the Westphalia Hills Nursing Home. Pat was born November 23, 1922, in Mt. Vernon, IL, the daughter of Richard and Lavinia (Hagener) Flynn. She was married on June 28, 1952, in Jefferson City, Mo., to Gerhard H. Hilkemeyer, Jr., who preceded her in death on December 15, 1983. A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Hilkemeyer had also served as the Mayor of Westphalia for 12 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a founding member of the Westphalia Historical Society. Survivors include: one daughter & son-in law, Anne & Patrick Steele of Westphalia; three sisters-in-law, Trudy Conine of Natchitoches, LA; Marge Flynn of Hudson, Ohio; Alice Hilkemeyer of Jefferson City; a brother-in-law, Tom Shaw of Lakeland, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Doris Flynn, Elizabeth "Bette" Baldwin, Inez Shaw, and Jerome "Jerry" Flynn. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia with the Reverend Mark S.
