POLLY ANN PECHER

June 8, 1932 — October 7, 2009

Polly Ann Pecher, 77, of St. Martins, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born on June 8, 1932, at the home in Vienna, Mo, the daughter of the late John Ildaphonse and Bertha Clare Stratman Volmert. She was a 1950 graduate of St. Peters High School. On February 13, 1960, Polly was united in marriage in Vienna, to Edward G. Pecher, Jr., who preceded her in death on June 6, 1983. Polly retired after 17 years as manager of the Missouri Health Credit Union. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church for the past twenty years, and a former longtime member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph. During elections, Polly volunteered as an election official. She enjoyed bowling, reading, watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Missouri Tigers football, spending time with family and friends, and West Highland White Terriers.
Survivors include: one daughter, Lori (Phil) Wolken, Tipton; four sons, Edward (Leanne) Pecher, Holts Summit; John Pecher, St. Martins; Keith (Penny) Pecher, Wardsville; Roger (Melissa) Pecher, St. Martins; ten grandchildren, Troy Wolken, Daniel Wolken, Luke Pecher, Kaylee Pecher, Montana Pecher, Sophia Pecher, Kaleb Pecher, Kaitlyn Pecher, Colton Pecher, Cohen Pecher; and two brothers, Les Volmert, Vienna; and Richard (Agnes) Volmert, Wardsville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 Noon, Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Helias Foundation, 1106 Swifts Highway, Jefferson City, Mo 65109; or to the St. Martins School Expansion Fund, 7206 St. Martins Ave., Jefferson City, Mo 65109.
