PATRICIA ANNE BERRA

Patricia Anne Berra, 77, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center. She was born on Aug. 27, 1931, in Desloge, Mo., the daughter of the late Robert Glenwood and Jessica Marguriete Parker Koen. She was married on April 19, 1952, in St. Louis, Mo., to Robert Serafino Berra who died on March 2, 2008. Mrs. Berra was an insurance rater with Safeco Insurance Co. and General American Insurance Co. in St. Louis for several years. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Jerry Blankenship, Jefferson City; three sons and two-daughters-in-law, Robert Greg Berra, Jefferson City; Kevin and Sharon Berra, St. Charles, Mo.; and Chris and Karen Berra, Mobile, Ala.; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Koen, St. Louis; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Donald and Marlene Berra, Castle Rock, Colo.; and Delores Berra, St. Louis. She was preceded in the death by one grandson, Charles R. Berra; and one brother, Ray Koen. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
