Nelson Edward Shoults

Nelson Edward Shoults, 49, of Russellville, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at Lake Regional Hospital. He was born on July 26, 1963, in Jefferson City, the son of the late Nelson Joseph and Sarah Alice (Shivers) Shoults. He was united in marriage on October 29, 1993, in Fulton, to Delia Ann Brown who survives at the home. Nelson was employed with the Jefferson City Public Schools as a custodian and was a long time employee of Tennysons. Nelson enjoyed rummaging through and collecting items from junkyards and working on cars. Survivors include: one son, David Lounder, Russellville; two daughters, Kandy Lounder, Russellville; Heather (Wayne) Kathan, Gretna, Va; six grandchildren, Trisha Duby, Wayne Kathan, Jr., Janell Nixon, James Nixon, Jr., Mikkel Woody, Christin Courtney; one great-granddaughter, Kyla Hardwick; four sisters, Anna Fair, Linda Hartley, Brenda Clements, Betty Hartley; and his loving dogs, Lucy and Rosie. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brett Duby; and two sisters, Sandy Cundiff and Billy Sue Livingston. A celebration of Nelson's life will be 11 a.m. Saturday , June 29, 2013, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Pastor Don Fankhauser officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Nelson's family.
