Naomia Edith Fleming

Naomia Edith Fleming, 92, of Jefferson City, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Heisinger Bluffs. She was born on Sept. 5, 1914, in Alton, IL, the daughter of Edgar and Anna Nilges Hall. She was married on Nov. 23, 1939, in Poplar Bluff, MO, to Wilbur Eugene Fleming who died on Oct. 10, 1988. Mrs. Fleming was employed in earlier years with Tweedie Shoe Factory. She later served for nine years as a clerk with the Missouri Department of Revenue. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella. Survivors include one daughter, Macquelin Helin-Grech and her husband, Joseph, Windsor, Ontario, Canada; four grandchildren, Julie Hoban, Phoenix, AZ; Bryan Helin and Eric Helin, both of Grosse Pointe, MI; and Laurie Cooper, Davison, MI; and three great-grandchildren, Jamie Hoban, Jenna Hoban, and Caitlin Mae Cooper. She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Lee. Frank; and one sister, Marie Hemmel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007, in the chapel at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Donald W. Lammers officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Peter Catholic Church or a charity of the donors choice.
