Nadine Rose Bernskoetter, 86, of Wardsville, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Westphalia Hills surrounded by her family.
She was born May 28, 1929, in Wardsville, Missouri the daughter of the late Clem and Margaret (Schnieders) Stegeman.
She was united in marriage on April 21, 1951, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville to Norbert B. Bernskoetter who survives at the home.
Nadine worked for Tweedie Shoe Factory, St. Stanislaus School as a cook, and Scholastic, Inc. filling orders of books.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, St. Stanislaus Ladies Sodality, Fraternal Order of Eagle's Auxiliary, and was a 4-H leader.
She enjoyed crocheting, dancing with Norbert, traveling in retirement, watching sporting events for her children and grandchildren, and always loved the time she spent with her family.
Survivors include: her husband, Norbert Bernskoetter, Wardsville; four children, Marvin (Shirley) Bernskoetter, Jefferson City; Leroy (Dana) Bernskoetter, Jefferson City; Daryl (Cindy) Bernskoetter, Springfield, MO; Marlene (Rich) Dorge, Jefferson City; ten grandchildren, John Bernskoetter, Laura Schwindel, James Bernskoetter, Tom Bernskoetter, Jackie Oden, Grace Bernskoetter, Olivia Bernskoetter, Brandon Dorge, Maggie Dorge, Amy Dorge; seven great-grandchildren, and a sister, Elsie Stegeman, Jefferson City.
She was a preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Everett Stegeman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville, with the Rev. Wayne M. Boyer officiating.
Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3 p.m.
