NORMAN FRED BAUMHOER

Norman Fred Baumhoer, 71, of Folk, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at his residence.
He was born on March 27, 1938, in Folk, Mo., the son of the late Anton Martin and Minnie M. Woehr Baumhoer. He was united in marriage on September 24, 1960, in Folk, Mo., to Patricia Catherine Baumhoer who survives at the home. Norman was a farmer all his life cultivating the land on his century old farm. He was a member of St. Anthony Of Padua Catholic Church, Folk, which he help build. He loved driving his old grain truck, deer hunting, and his dog, Missy. His greatest love was for his family, especially his grandchildren, and his farm.
Other survivors include: five children, Wayne Baumhoer, Folk; Mark (Jennifer) Baumhoer, Westphalia; Paul (Laura) Baumhoer, Koeltztown; Wanda (Keith) Abbott, Folk; Ron (girlfriend, Wendy Kost) Baumhoer, Folk; twelve grandchildren, Amy Baumhoer, Anthony Baumhoer, Heather Baumhoer, Allison Baumhoer, Jonathon Baumhoer, Elizabeth Baumhoer, Chloe Baumhoer, Claire Baumhoer, Brooklyn Abbott, Logan Abbott, Isaac Abbott, Jeana Abbott; two sisters, Viola (Lloyd) Cassmeyer, Jefferson City; Esther (Dave) Borgmeyer, Wardsville; and two brothers, Cyril (Delores) Baumhoer, Jefferson City; and Matt (Marlene) Baumhoer, Taos. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma Jean Baumhoer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2009, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Folk, with the Rev. Mark S. Smith officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, at the St. Anthony of Padua Parish Hall, Folk, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Leukemia Association, or to the donors choice.
