Mildred Louise O'Donnell

Mildred "Micky" Louise O'Donnell, 84, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital. She was born December 19, 1931, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, the daughter of the late Joseph William and Elizabeth Katherine Felkl Rump. Mildred was a 1948 graduate of Regina Central Collegiate High School and graduated from Regina Grey Nuns Hospital in 1953 and Marquette University in 1955. On June 1, 1957, she was united in marriage in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada to John David O'Donnell, who survives at the home. Mildred was a nurse educator for Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital, Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis, and Regina Grey Nuns Hospital in Canada, retiring in 1987. Mildred was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph; GFWC Dianas Club; GFWC St. Genevieve Woman's Club; 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Auxiliary; and volunteered at the Samaritan Center. Other survivors include four children: J. David (Ida) O'Donnell, Jefferson City; Peter J. (Carolyn) O'Donnell, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Edmund A. O'Donnell, Kansas City; and Ted M. O'Donnell, Jefferson City; seven grandchildren, Kelly Piatek, Lauren Wolff, Corinne O'Donnell, Hunter O'Donnell, Mallory O'Donnell, Libby O'Donnell, and Roan O'Donnell; two sisters, Dorothy Neuman, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and Elizabeth (Norris) Fox, Denton, TX. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday February 29, 2016, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Rev. Christopher M. Aubuchon officiating. Burial will be 3 p.m. Monday, February 29, 2016, at Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Visitation will be 2:30-5 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 2 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Missouri Girls Town Foundation, 8548 Jade Rd, Kingdom City, MO 65262.
