Michael Anthony Hoelscher

Michael Anthony Hoelscher, 50, of Wardsville, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019, at his residence.

He was born March 2, 1969, in Jefferson City, the son of Leon “Butch” Hoelscher and Elizabeth “Betty” Thompson.

Mike as a 1987 graduate of Blair Oaks High School in Wardsville.

He was married to Theresa Jimenez in 1996 and later divorced. Of that union, one son was born, Cameron Michael Hoelscher.

Mike worked as a laborer and for Amway.

Mike never met a stranger and loved telling jokes and pulling tricks on his friends and family. He had a passion for the Native American culture and loved to hunt arrowheads with his dad. He loved hunting and fishing, and once won a Cadillac thru Amway. He was most proud of his son, Cameron.

Survivors include his son, Cameron Hoelscher, Kansas City; his ex-wife, Theresa Hoelscher, Lake Ozark; his mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Siebeneck (Jerry), Taos; two sisters, Rebecca Hoelscher and Sarah Struemph (Chris), both of Jefferson City; step-grandfather, Vernon Walther, Jefferson City; three step-siblings, Shannon Siebeneck, Todd Siebeneck, and Blake Siebeneck, all of Jefferson City; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon “Butch” Hoelscher; and his grandparents, Joseph and Leona Hoelscher, Milo Thompson, and Lorene Thompson Walther.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2019, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a service to follow at 6 p.m. with the Rev. I.C. Medina officiating.

Private family burial will be held in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Wardsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Mental Health Awareness of the donor’s choice.
