She died at her home surrounded by her daughters. She was born in Loose Creek, MO to Henry Peter Kremer and Legora Ann Backes Kremer. She was married on August 27, 1960 in Loose Creek to Arthur Hans Tichelkamp who died on March 22, 2002. She is survived by seven daughters, Cheryl Rose Jansen, and Brenda Legora Starke, both of Bonnots Mill; Glenda Sue Cowley, Jefferson City; Marsha Lynn Klein, Kansas City; Donna Kay Wibberg, Linn; Gayle Ann Nugent, Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Dana Renee Rustemeyer, Frankenstein; one siter, Rita Mantle, Bonnots Mill; two brothers, Sam Kremer, Bonnots Mill; and Tom Kremer, Freeburg; and nineteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Kremer. She was an in-home day care provider for 21 years. Later, she worked as a printer at the Missouri Automobile Dealers Association for 17 years and also worked in the housekeeping department at Jefferson City Medical Group, retiring in 2002 after 20 years of service. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; Immaculata Club; and the Boot Scooters Dance Club. Memorials are suggested to the Maxine Frances Tichelkamp Memorial Fund. She was a graduate of Fatima High School, Westphalia in 1960.
