Mary Wilhemina Renn

Mary Wilhelmina Renn, 94, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Adams Street Place. She was born on May 3, 1921, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late John Bernard and Anna Gesina Heimericks Mortemeyer. She was married on April 18, 1940, in Jefferson City to Arthur Joseph Renn who died on May 10, 1992. Mrs. Renn was employed for many years as a seamstress for Jefferson Cleaners, and later as a clerk with the Missouri Department of Revenue. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos; the Legion of Mary; and the Taos Senior Citizens Center. She greatly enjoyed word puzzles and playing solitaire. Survivors include three children, John J. Renn, Jefferson City; Barbara (Louis) Eiken, Taos; and Mary Ann Bohning, Jefferson City; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, her twin, Mathilda Mortemeyer; and Elizabeth Mehmert; one son-in-law, Richard A. "Rick" Bohning; and a daughter-in-law, Betty R. Renn. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos, with the Rev. Wayne Boyer officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Taos. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, January 2nd, at the church.
