Mary Patricia "Pat" "Scheppy" Schepers, 62, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital. She was born May 12, 1953, in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Russell Reed and Kathleen Arlene (Mahoney) Hill. She was united in marriage on April 15, 1972, in Jefferson City, to Gary Hugo Schepers who survives at the home. Due to Gary's service in the military and her love of our country, Pat was a strong support of the American Flag and our troops. Pat worked for the State of Missouri for over 30 years retiring as a Supervisor with Child Support Division. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Pat also was an active and strong member of Al-Anon. She greatly enjoyed going to the movies, going antique shopping, playing cards, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Gary Schepers, Jefferson City; a daughter, Stephanie (Jeremy) Wilson, Jefferson City; a son, Kevin (Donna) Schepers, Jefferson City; four grandchildren, Kali Schepers, Brody Wilson, Seth Wilson, Lilly Schepers; two sisters, Cheryl (Charlie) Johnson, Jefferson City; Liz Wray, Blue Springs, MO; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Linda Nilges. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Gregory C. Meystrik officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
