Mary Elizabeth Kleffner

Mary Elizabeth Kleffner, 65, of Jefferson City, formerly of Westphalia, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 30, 1951, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Hubert John and Francella Elizabeth (Descher) Scheulen. She was a 1969 graduate of Fatima High School. Mary worked for the Missouri Department of Revenue as a data entry clerk for 32 years retiring in 2001. Following retirement, she worked for Fatima High School for 12 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia. Mary enjoyed playing bingo, going to casinos, scratching lottery tickets, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include two children, Amy (Andrew) Wilde, Jefferson City; Andrew (Nicole) Kleffner, Jefferson City; six grandchildren, Morgan Wilde, Karlie Wilde, Alex Kleffner, Aron Kleffner, Aiden Kleffner, Taylor Kleffner; and one brother, John (Nancy) Scheulen, Linn. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gary Scheulen; and a nephew, Heath Scheulen. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia with prayer service at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Mark S. Smith officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia is in charge of the arrangement.
