Marjorie Emily Nilges-Erhart, 89, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, September 01, 2013, at Adams Street Place. She was born on October 17, 1923, in Westphalia, the daughter of the late Herman Henry and Isabelle Mary (Nolte) Schauwecker. Marjorie was a 1941 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Westphalia. She was united in marriage on February 17, 1942, in Westphalia to Anthony Francis Nilges who preceded her in death on February 7, 1996. On June 12, 1999, in Jefferson City she married John Adam Erhart who preceded her in death on January 16, 2009. Marjorie worked as a secretary for the Missouri National Guard for 38 years retiring in 1988. She also had worked for People's Mutual Insurance Company in Linn for seven years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Western Catholic Union, and Catholic Knights of America. Marjorie enjoyed collecting antiques and tending to her flowers. Survivors include: one son, Larry and Sue Nilges, Jefferson City; one daughter-in-law, JoAnne Nilges, Westphalia; five grandchildren, Suzie and Chris Dickneitte; John and Donna Nilges; Ryan and Cindy Pfahl; Stephanie and Chris Steele; Chris Nilges; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Anthony Nilges and John Erhart; and a son, Lonnie Nilges. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. David D. Cox officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Mo 65101; SSM Hospice, 1241 West Truman Blvd. Suite L201, Jefferson City, Mo 65109; or to the Alzheimer's Association, 2400 Bluff Creek Drive, Jefferson City, Mo 65201.
