Margaret Louise Loethen, 94, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center. She was born June 1, 1921, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Andrew Edward and Sadie Irene (Abbett) Fischer. She was a 1939 graduate of Jefferson City High School. Margaret was united in marriage on May 3, 1947, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City to Wilfred George Loethen who survives. A homemaker most of her life, Margaret was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was in charge of the funeral luncheons for many years, St. Ann's Sodality, Immaculata Club, and a life member of St. Mary's Auxiliary, where she volunteered on the coffee cart. Margaret also was a volunteer at the Samaritan Center. In addition to her husband Wilfred of 68 years, Margaret is survived by five children, Judy (Gary) Tripp, Taos; Linda (Francis "Fritz") Verhoff, Westphalia; Rosemary (Richard) Heidbreder, Lohman; Connie (Stephen) Boeckman, St. Martins; and Mark (Laurie) Loethen, Liberty; twelve grandchildren, Julie (Scott) Walters, Debbie (Blaine) Kremesec, Shelley (Kevin) Richter, Doug Tripp, Ryan Heidbreder (fiance, Ashley Karle), Natasha (Fred) Gladbach, Lindsay Boeckman (fianc, Damion Roberts), Brandon Boeckman, Shannon Loethen, Emily Loethen, Rachel Loethen, and Zachary Loethen; eleven great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren with one more arriving in February. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Peggy Whorton and Dorothy Rawls. Visitation will be 4:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald J. Antweiler officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 E.
