Mancil Cleo Ash

Mancil Cleo Ash, 74, of Holts Summit, died Sunday, May 5, 2002, at Oakview Skilled Care Center, Holts Summit. He was born on October 4, 1927 in California, Missouri, the son of Porter William Ash and Rosetta Flippen Ash. He was married on November 18, 1949 in Harrison, Arkansas to Frances Henrietta Thessen who survives at the home. Funeral services will be held a 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. The Rev. Frederick J. Elskamp will officiate. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery, Holts Summit. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Andrew Church Building Fund, 400 St. Andrew Drive, Holts Summit, MO 65043. He was employed with Landwehr Dairy for twenty years, and later owned and operated Formco Foundation until his retirement in 1986. Other survivors include four sons, William Rick Wilbers, Daryle D. Ash, Randy M. Ash, and Troy L. Ash, all of Holts Summit; five daughters, Darla Kay Schrimpf, Lisa G. Schuster and Jill E. Kepner, all of Holts Summit; Cheryl L. Wilson, New Bloomfield; and Lana J. Wiebold, Westphalia; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lorene Stock and Katie Galliher, both of California, Missouri. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary L. Wilbers.
