MARY JEAN GALLOWAY

Mary Jean Galloway, 80, of Jefferson City, died Friday, September 19, 2008, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 27, 1928, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Herman and Pansy Higgins. Mary will long be remembered for her unassuming and giving nature. Her personal sacrifices are etched in the hearts of those she touched. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Rich Martin, Kansas City; Belinda and JP Van Nostrand, Jefferson City; Rhonda and Larry Procell, Pine Bluff, Ark.; two sons, Bill Galloway, Holts Summit; Tom Galloway, Jefferson City; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, John Mills; Carl Mills; and Jim Mills. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Carl Mills; her husband, Bill Galloway, Sr.; her daughter, Patricia Ziehmer; her daughter-in-law, Ann Galloway; two sisters, June Weddle and Sarah Mills; and a brother, William Lee Higgins. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at New Hope Baptist Church, Centertown, MO. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
