MARY ANN SCHMITZ

Mary Ann Schmitz, 81, of Jefferson City, died Friday, July 21, 2006, at Heisinger Bluffs. She was born on May 3, 1925 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of McKinley Mack Dunn and Agnes Pauline Gutting Dunn. She was married on May 28, 1949, in St. Louis to Peter Kenneth Schmitz who died on June 22, 2000. Mrs. Schmitz was employed for twenty years at Von Hoffman Press as a book binder. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Gary Kauffman, Olathe, KS; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael S. and Rose Anne Schmitz, Jefferson City, and Keith P. Schmitz, New Bloomfield; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Stanley T. Schmitz, Florissant, MO. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2006 at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. M. Brendan Griffey officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
