MARTHA ANN KAISER

December 14, 1925 — October 22, 2004

Martha Ann Kaiser, 78, of Jefferson City, died Friday, October 22, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center. She was born on December 14, 1925 in Jefferson City, the daughter of Nicholas and Caroline Distler Hentges. She was married on April 16, 1947 in Jefferson City to Victor Joseph Kaiser who survives at the home. Other survivors include four daughters, Cindy A. Reeves; Peggy L. Kaiser and her fianc, David Gretlein; Vickie S. Schaben; and Jacqueline K. and her husband, Kevin Baldwin, all of Jefferson City; seven grandchildren, Kayla Reeves; Melissa Reeves; Austin Reeves; Emily Reeves; Clayton Schaben; Tasha Schaben; and April Schaben; one brother, Leroy Hentges, Jefferson City; and two sisters, Nadine Morff, Lohman; and Frances Meller, Holts Summit. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Donna Marie Kaiser; an infant brother, Eugene Hentges; one brother, Herbert Hentges; and four sisters, Leona Mertens; Helen Hentges; Mary Grace Griggs; and Mary Eleanor Raithel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 25, 2004, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. James L. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, 3210 N. Ten Mile Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109 (893-5251) with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Vogelweid Learning Center, 314 W. High Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101. A homemaker, Mrs. Kaiser was employed with Tweedie Shoe Company; served part-time as a waitress at the American Legion; retired after seventeen years at Westinghouse, Inc.; and was a teachers aide with Vogelweid Learning Center. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church; Ladies Sodality; Happy Hour Womens Club; and Saturday Night Card Club.
