MARIE ANN REDEL

Marie Ann Redel, 86, of Westphalia, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at her residence. She was born on Oct. 31, 1917 on the family farm near Westphalia, the daughter of John Conrad and Elizabeth Ann Baumhoer Redel. Survivors include seven nieces, Janet Bolzenius, Union; Denise Hinson, St. Charles; Melissa Cox, Leslie; Barbara Howard and Carolyn Wieberg, both of Westphalia; Jennifer Howard, Clarksville, TN; and Lori Reichert, St. Peters; three nephews, Steven Schell, Union; Daniel Schell, St. Charles; and David Schell, Raleigh, NC; and a sister-in-law, Betty Redel, Westphalia. She was preceded in death by a brother, Norbert Redel; a sister, Lavina Schell; and a brother-in-law, Gilbert Schell. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia, with the Rev. Robert A. Kurwicki officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Westphalia. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church, POB 116, Westphalia, MO 65085.
