MARCELLUS ADAM WIEBERG

June 26, 1930 — April 2, 2012

Marcellus Adam Mike Wieberg, 81, of Jefferson City, died Monday, April 2, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on June 26, 1930, in Argyle, Mo., the son of the late Frank and Catherine Mary Hoeller Wieberg.
He was united in marriage on April 7, 1951, in St. Thomas, Mo., to Alicia Christine Anne Prenger who survives at the home.
In 1951, he was drafted into service with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict where he obtained the rank of Sergeant and received the Korean service medal with three bronze service stars; United Nations service medal; and the combat infantry badge with two overseas bars. He was honorably discharged in 1953.
After returning home, he was employed by the state of Missouri until his retirement from the Missouri State Employers System in June 1992.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, American Legion Post 5, VFW Post 1003, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 2693. Mike enjoyed traveling, dancing, and mostly spending time with his family.
Other survivors include: two children, Milo (Pam) Wieberg, Chesterfield; Mary (Gerald) Siemons, Jefferson City; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Sean) Godwin, Andrew (Elizabeth) Miller, Crystal (Ryan) Busalachi, Michael Wieberg; one step-grandson, Jason (Lucinda) Siemons; nine great-grandchildren, Emilia Godwin, Kaleb Godwin, Tobyas Godwin, Pheona Godwin, Indigo Miller, Alexander Wieberg, Jett Busalachi, Matthew Wieberg, Lucas Wieberg; three siblings, Robert (Sarah Ann) Wieberg, Springfield, Il; Alfred (Mildred) Wieberg, Westphalia; Maria Cox, Des Moines, Ia.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by eight sisters, Catherine Wieberg, Cecilia Loethen, Christine Groner, Caroline Herigon, Leona Loethen, Laurentia Hammock, Emma Meisel, and Lidwina Brochman; three brothers, Aloysius Wieberg, Frank Wieberg, Cornelius Wieberg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis W. Doyle, officiating.
Entombment with military honors will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 4 p.m.
