Louise Regina Moeller

Louise Regina Moeller, 83, of Wardsville, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital. She was born December 20, 1932, in Maries County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Herman and Otillia (Bock) Wieberg. Louise attended school through the eighth grade with perfect attendance. She was united in marriage on October 24, 1953, in Wardsville, to Lawrence C. Moeller who survives. Louise spent most of her life as a homemaker raising 6 children and managing the family farm. She also worked for Dix's Orchard from 1948-1954 and as a housekeeper from 1975-2010. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville. Louise enjoyed quilting, gardening, dancing, playing cards, canning vegetables and fruits, butchering meat, helping others, cooking, helping with funeral meals, making quilts for parish picnics, taking care of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spreading her knowledge, manners and loads of love to everyone she met. Louise was also a volunteer for Relay for Life at various fund-raisers. And she was proud of her pure breed English-Shepherd dogs. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence; six children, Robert Moeller, Jefferson City; Charles (Jennifer) Moeller, Taos; James (Joyce) Moeller, Henley; Mary (Larry) Heimericks, Jamestown; Linda (Douglas) Werdehausen, New Bloomfield; Douglas (Sandra) Moeller, Taos; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six siblings, Willemina "Pilly" (Ernie) Trachel, Westphalia; Catherine (Bernard) Rustemeyer, St. Martins; Leona (John) Werdehausen, Holts Summit; Esther (Ronnie) Doggett, Taos; Ellanora (Charles) Huhmann, Holts Summit; JoAnn (Lawrence) Wansing, Meta. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Bernita Hake, Emergine Schulte, Viola Wieberg; one brother, Norbert Wieberg; and a great-grandson, Kristopher Heimericks. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville with the Rev. I.C. Medina officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Oak Tree Villas, 3108 W. Truman Blvd., Jefferson City, MO 65109; or to Masses.
