Louise C. Kremer, 92, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center, surrounded by her daughters. She was born April 4, 1922, in Cole County, the daughter of the late Anton and Anna "Frank" Heckman. She was united in marriage on August 1, 1942, in Wardsville to the love of her life, Clarence A. Kremer, who preceded her in death on September 22, 1995 after 53 years of marriage. Louise was a homemaker and during World War II, she was a seamstress at the Oberman's Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and St. Ann's Sodality. She was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Prayer Line for many years and the Legion of Mary. Survivors include two daughters, Judith (Emil) Spears, Blue Springs, MO; Linda Niekamp, Jefferson City; and one son-in-law, Tracy Hernandez, Jefferson City. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Lori Daugherty, Blue Springs, MO; Doug Muenks, Independence, MO; Kim Gustafson, Lee's Summit, MO; Steve Muenks, Lee's Summit, MO; Elizabeth Hernandez and Alan Hernandez, both of Jefferson City; and 8 great-grandchildren. She is survived by two brothers, Harold (Berniece) Heckman and Cletus (Ella) Heckman, both of Wardsville; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clarence; her daughter, Brenda Hernandez; one son-in-law, Daniel Niekamp, Jefferson City; three sisters, Rose Meyers, Ladue, MO; Eleanor White, St Louis; Frances Robinson; Holt Summit, MO; and one brother, Raymond Heckman, Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Tony Rinaldo officiating. Internment will be at St Stanislaus Cemetery in Wardsville, MO. Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
