Louis Bernard Prenger

Louis B. Prenger, 95. of Taos, died Friday, September 06, 2013, at Westphalia Hills. He was born on November 26, 1917, in Taos, the son of the late Ben and Minnie (Braun) Prenger. He was united in marriage on September 30, 1944, in Taos, to Gearldine Mount who still survives. A farmer all his life, Louis had also worked at the Capital Mall. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Taos. Survivors include: four children, Bernice Kiss, Jefferson City; Lloyd (Carol) Prenger, Jefferson City; Kenneth (Susan) Prenger, Holts Summit; Albertha Miller, Austin, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a sister-in-law, Cyrilla Prenger, Taos. He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Phyllis and Carol Sue Prenger; seven sisters; three brothers; a daughter-in-law, Cecilia Prenger; and a son-in-law, David Kiss. In accordance with Louis's wishes private family services will be held on Monday, September 9, 2013, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne M. Boyer officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
