Lorrell L. Pingel

Lorrell L. Pingel, 64, of Jefferson City, passed away, Friday, December 4, 2015, at Golden Living Center. He was born September 26, 1951, in Aurelia, Iowa, the son of the late Leonard and Verna (Roggow) Pingel. He was united in marriage on April 3, 1971, in Aurelia, Iowa to Kathleen Wava Bailey who survives. Lorrell worked for over 32 years in the maintenance division with Unilever, Inc. After retirement, Lorrell and his wife, Kathleen volunteered for the Missouri State Parks as hosts and hostesses at various parks including Bennett Springs. He was a former member of Faith Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Pingel, Jefferson City; two siblings, Carroll (Lois) Pingel, St. Charles, MO; Lila (Don) Beck, Fort Dodge, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Bruce (Brenda) Bailey, Florissant, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Dale Bailey. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Alter officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial gardens.
