Loretta Helen Rademan

Loretta H. Patsy Rademan, 87, of Jefferson City, passed away peacefully Monday, April 17, 2017 at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born January 14, 1930, in Freeburg, Mo., a daughter of the late George and Eleanor (Welschmeyer) Pope. She attended Holy Family Catholic School in Freeburg, Mo. On April 3, 1947, Loretta was united in marriage in Jefferson City, Mo., to Arthur H. Rademan, who preceded her in death on September 16, 2001. Loretta worked for 16 years at the International Shoe Factory in Jefferson City until its closing. A devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed a modest life on the farm. Gardening, picking blackberries, harvesting walnuts, playing cards with siblings and spending time with her family were favorite pastimes. Loretta is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Cecilia) Rademan, Koeltztown and Marvin Rademan, Jefferson City. She cherished her six grandchildren: Cindy Wadley, Spearville, Kan.; Mike (Stacey) Rademan, Koeltztown; Wayne (Melinda) Rademan, Koeltztown; Becky (Adam) Frankenbach, Wardsville; Monica (Cory) Nilges, Holts Summit; and Christopher Rademan, Koeltztown; nine great-grandchildren: Autumn and Callie Wadley, Hunter and Dawson Rademan, Breanna and Macie Rademan, Elaina Frankenbach, Addison and Braeden Nilges; and two sisters, Emma Scheulen, Loose Creek and Doris (Winiford) Lewis of Jefferson City. Loretta was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Matthew Wadley; and seven siblings: Alvina Boehmer, Mary Lueckenotte, George "Buddy" Pope Jr., Lydia "Lee" Clark, Frank Pope, Irene Koelling and Teresa Schwartz. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia with a Rosary recited at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville with the Rev. Ignazio C. Medina officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Wardsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Stanislaus School, 6410 State Hwy. W, Jefferson City, MO 65101. Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia.
