Lisa Ruth Johnson, 62, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, at Delaware Place Group Home in Jefferson City.
She was born on August 8, 1959, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late William Herman and Ruth Emaline (Hancock) Johnson.
Lisa attended First Baptist Church.
She worked over forty years at Capitol Projects doing a variety of group activities, including tasks for Scholastic. She also enjoyed her time and participated at Day Solutions. She volunteered at Villa Marie and enjoyed helping the residents.
Lisa was a happy person. She adored and loved being with her mother. She loved music, especially Blue Grass, dancing, cleaning, and helping others.
Survivors include a brother, Michael Johnson, Stilwell, Kansas; two nephews, Eric Michael Johnson, Spicewood, Texas; and Scott William (Jayme) Johnson, Louisburg, Kansas; and two great-nephews, Jhett Johnson and Cade Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery, Dixon, Missouri.
Memorials are suggested to Cole County Residential or to Capitol Projects.
