Lena Christine Thrash

She was born in Linn, MO to Herman J. Maasen and Katie Nilges Maasen. She was married on February 18, 1939 in Jefferson City to Harold F. Thrash who died June 28, 1977. She retired in 1976 as a Supervisor in the Driver's License Department of the Missouri Department of Revenue where she had been employed for 23 years. She is survived by a daughter, Joann C. Groner, Jefferson City; two sons, Robert F. Thrash, Plano, Texas; and Donald N. Thrash, Holts Summit; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Agnes Knott, St. Louis; and Teresa Slicker and Martha Toebben, both of Jefferson City; and two brothers, Leo Maasen, Jefferson City; and Bill Maasen, Richland, Washington. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; St. Ann's Sodality; the Immaculata Club; and St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Church Endowment Fund; or The Helias Foundation.
