Leah Harris Anderson

She was born in Hosmer, South Dakota to William and Mary Biskurwich Harris. She was married on November 30, 1947 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Robert William Anderson, Sr., who died on March 27, 2002. Survivors include a son, Robert W. Anderson, Jr., Linn Creek, MO; two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia A. and Mark Haag, Tebbetts, MO; and Deborah L. Anderson, Tebbetts, MO; one granddaughter, Michele Leah Haag, Tebbetts, MO; and a sister, Mary Jawor, HcHenry, IL. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christine Lynn Edwards; and a sister, Tillie Howard. Mrs. Anderson was employed as a professional singer in Pennsylvania, New York, and Texas from 1941 to 1946; was a cosmetician in Chicago and Danville, Illinois from 1947 to 1977; was co-owner with her husband of Bullock Builders, Jefferson City, until 1987; and owned and managed Lee's Antiques, Jefferson City.
