Laura Mae Groner, 75, of Jefferson City, passed away, Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born May 2, 1940, in Rich Fountain, Missouri, the daughter of the late Frank Peter and Catherine Elizabeth (Dill) Bauer.
She was united in marriage on October 4, 1958, in Jefferson City to Harold Francis Groner who preceded her in death on August 28, 2008.
Laura was a homemaker most of her life and provided in home childcare for 20 years.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Immaculate Conception Ladies Sodality, and the Fraternal Order of Eagle's Auxiliary. Laura enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and quilting.
Survivors include: two sons, Terence (Pam) Groner, Jefferson City; Randall Groner, Jefferson City; five grandchildren, Cassandra Groner, Caleb Groner, Brian Groner, Brittney Badding, Ryan Badding; and one sister, Mary Jane Rothove, Westphalia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Raymond Bauer.
Visitation will be 4:30-6 p.m. Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with the Rev. Simeon Etonu officiating.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
