LaDonna Gayle Powell

LaDonna Gayle Powell, 59, of Holts Summit, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016, at her residence. She was born April 14, 1956, in Jefferson City to Herbert (Agnes) Powell. LaDonna was married to Donald Jacobs on September 30, 1973. LaDonna worked in retail sales and as a nurse aid for various local nursing homes. She had attended New Bloomfield Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting. Survivors include: one daughter, Natalie (Chris) Albritton, Jefferson City; her mother, Agnes Powell, Holts Summit; three grandchildren, Thomas Beck, Ashten Anderson, Lily Boos; seven brothers, Tommy Evers, Holts Summit; Christopher Horstdaniel, Colorado; Shawn Horstdaniel, Texas; Danny Powell, Mexico, MO; Herb Powell, Jr., Jefferson City; Jeff Powell, Jefferson City; Mike Powell, Jefferson City; and five sisters, Sheila Clark, New Bloomfield; Clara Evers, Holts Summit; Victoria Horstdaniel, Texas; Cathy Nichols, Linn; and Susie Watson, Holts Summit. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Powell; and a daughter, Dana Beck. Visitation will be 12-1 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Prospect Cemetery in New Bloomfield. Memorials are suggested to the LaDonna Powell family.
