LOIS EILEEN MARTIN

August 7, 1927 — August 2, 2010

Lois Eileen Martin, 82, of Jefferson City, died Monday, August 2, 2010, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born on August 7, 1927, in Carterville, Mo, the daughter of the late Perry Francis and Lulu Opal Snyder Bundy. She was united in marriage on April 13, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Clyde B Martin who preceded her in death on May 15, 1994. A homemaker all her life, Lois worked as a secretary for Mo Dept. of Revenue, Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Division, Mo House of Representatives, and Central Missouri Adjustment where she retired in 1978. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, charter member of Mo State Genealogical Association, Cole Co. Historical Society, and St. Marys Auxiliary where she also volunteered.
Survivors include: one daughter-in-law, Lana Martin, Jefferson City; two grandsons, Craig (Katie) Martin, St. Louis; Eric (Susan) Martin, Dallas, TX.; one great-grandson, Trevor Martin; and one brother, Donald (Carol) Bundy, Blue Springs, Mo. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Martin; and a brother, Robert Bundy.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4618 Henwick Lane, Jefferson City, with Bishop Karl C. Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Missionary Fund, c/o Karl Hubbard, 660 Buckskin Dr., Jefferson City, Mo 65109; or to the charity of the donors choice.
