LISA SUE RUSSELL

January 24, 1974 — July 21, 2009

Lisa Sue Russell, 35, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on Jan. 24, 1974, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Larry Don Rogers and Beverly Sue Duncan. Her mother survives in Jefferson City. She was married in June, 1993, in Jefferson City to her former husband, Michael Ray Russell, who survives in Jefferson City. Lisa enjoyed art and was fond of painting scenes containing Native American Indians and wildlife, most notably tigers. Other survivors include one daughter, Tanya Russell, and one son, John Russell, both of Jefferson City; and two brothers, Jimmy (Patty) Rogers and Jerry (Misty) Rogers, all of Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Rogers. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2009, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. A prayer service will follow at 6 p.m. Burial will be Monday in Belle Cemetery, Ethel, Mo. Memorials are suggested to the Lisa Russell Children’s Education Fund.
